Compact Toolbar Button in Firefox



 The absence of clutter gives off a neat look which results in us working better. This simple fact is not restricted to our physical work; it also applies to our computer and internet experience. Having more space to work with is just better.To download compact tool bar add-on click here
Firefox users can now improve their browser based on the above mentioned fact by using a great Firefox add-on titled Compact Toolbar Buttons. This little add-on decreases the in-between spaces of your toolbar buttons. Here by toolbar buttons, we mean the back, forward, stop, refresh, and home buttons.

Once you have the extension installed the only decision that you will need to make is whether to use the regular or small size icons.

Perhaps you like using the small size icons and wonder if there would be much difference.


If you want the buttons to occupy even lesser space, you can right click on the main toolbar, and enter customize:

In the upcoming window, check the ‘Use Small Icons’ checkbox as shown in the image below:


As a consequence of the buttons taking up lesser space, the in-between spaces of the shortcuts on your bookmarks toolbar also is also reduced. Compact Toolbar Buttons may not be an add-on making a huge difference, but the effect it has is still noticeable and significant. Try the add-on now and feel the free space yourself.

  1. I am continually looking for additional ways to reduce the UI in Firefox, then this extension will certainly be helpful to me.
